Crazy Days

Hello out there! The last few days have been really kind of crazy for me. I have officially started the mowing season for 2009 and I HATE IT! I read something in the local paper this week and I totally agree with it. Some people live for mowing season. Others could just leave it. Anyway. Monday night was the annual talent show at my son's school and yours truly got to emcee it. Actually, I was the PTA member in charge of it and I had never done something like that before. Went ok after a few minor technical glitches. Tuesday was laundry day and after FIVE loads of clothes, I was about done in. Jackson was trying to help but caused a little more trouble than help. He wanted to put his clothes away and I let him. Ended up folding them again after he was done. He tried! Wednesday was housework and grocery shopping. Thursday was popcorn day at school and mowing the first two thirds of grandma's yard for her. Would have mowed the whole thing but had to go to Thursday night service at our church for Holy Week. Boy was I sore this morning. And today was a long one too. Work at two different locations, did another load of clothes, got some things that were left off the list at the grocery store, and then went back to my grandma's to get Jackson. But on the way there, I managed to save the rabbit raising career of my niece. Her mother (my sister) had been trying to find her a female to use for breeding so that she would be able to raise the babies for the fair this year. She was having no luck and called me. I just happened to see an older man selling these big white rabbits outside of WalMart today and found a nice looking one for $15.00. Well, Aunt Donna saves the day! Now, I just have to deal with a large rodent in my house for two days until my sister comes to get it. Jack thinks we have the Easter Bunny now. And that is how my week has gone. Never did get the rest of the grass mowed. Oh well. It will always be there. Wonder how much trouble I'd get in if I turned the cows out in the yard? Peace and Happy Easter! Donna
